Slightly acidified combination of Eosin-Y with Orange-G and Acid Fuchsin. Suitable as replace-ment for routine eosin. Distinct shades of eosin easily obtained from bright red-orange (red blood cell’s and fibrin deposits) to bright red (collagen fibers and skeletal muscle) to red-pink (smooth muscle). In many cases Treosin™ could eliminate the need for trichrome staining. Excellent for frozen sections.
