Silver Nitrate serves as the primary stain, reacting with the anions and ultra-violet light to produce brown to black calcium salts against pink to red cytoplasm and nuclei, counterstained by Nuclear Fast Red. There is no filtration required when using MasterTech Nuclear Fast Red.

100ml Stain Kit yields between 20 and 32 slides. Pint Stain Kit yields between 50-192 slides. Liter Stain Kit yields between 100-400 slides. Slide Yields assume maximum slides stained per run, maximum runs per use. Actual Slide Yields may vary.
